I have to wonder how Shauncy feels about having her darker skin being relegated to only a variant edition of the picture, rather than the one you want to show off (and therefore the one you feel is better.) I know that many women suffer from continual subtle messages in media and advertising that if they have dark skin they're inherently less beautiful, and it's a message that's both hurtful and untrue.

I'm not concerned with what you personally find attractive, but I am concerned that you offer to do art for others, but only when you can impose your own standards of attractiveness onto other people. You make it a point to change them to your tastes. And with such an emotionally charged factor as skin tone, especially, I can't help but feel that this is rather insensitive to the feelings of the people that you're theoretically working for.
